I used a pencil, paper and a ruler to create this drawing, as i did the last one. The art elements I incorporated were; Line, Shape, Space, and Value. The design elements Included were also : Emphasis, and Proportion/Scale.
Im this peice I began with a penciled dot, and connected shapes of differing sizes. To create the illusion of depth, i erased the orthagonal lines to leave the shape that was angled towards the predetermined point in space.

Using a ruler, mechanical pencil, and plenty of patience; I created a drawing that taught me the technique of line weights creating depth. The art elements I used in the particular work included, Line, shape, form, and shape. The design elements that were incorporated also included, emphasis, movement, unity/harmony, and scale. The work itself looks like a building in a futuristic setting, or perhaps a complex maze of never ending shapes and rooms. |
